and once again they are drilling holes outside my apartment. There does not seem to be any routine involved. No way to plan whether or not I will be here when it starts. I am trying to watch to only part of the Olympics I am interested in, but the sound has been drowned out by some geezer with a pneumatic drill outside my window. This does not happen every day, just on the days when I actually feel like getting stuff done.
Now that I have decided to stop feeling sorry for myself, and have some kind of motivation with regards to finding a job, I am feeling distinctively happier. IT might also have something to do with the fact that season 5 of West Wing has started to arrive from Netflix and that Ivory Coast are playing against an supremely talented front triangle of Messi, Aguero and Riquilme. For all the strength and skill that the Ivorians have, they get ripped apart whenever the Argies decide that they feel like attacking. I caught the end of the Brazil/Belgium game this morning and that was a let down. Dunga has turned Brazil into a star studded less geriatic version of Bolton under Sam Allardyce, not sure if much has changed under Megson. Admittedly the Belgians committed 30 fouls, has two players sent off, but that had more to do with the anal tendencies of the Saudi referee, AL GHAMDI Khalil, who sent Kompany off cos Diego slipped under him. The second decision was even worse. We all know that Brazilians have been guilty of play acting but this was ridiculous. It has not been this bad since Rivaldo got hit in the chest, or was it side, and was filmed clutching his face and managed to get a Turkish player sent off.

Yeah you all remember that!!
Have just found out that the Dutch are playing Nigeria at the same the Argentina are playing Ivory Coast. I only have one TV. Why do you expect me to choose? Does anyone actually have a TV that has Picture in Picture mode that actually works?
Anyway, the real reason I decided to write this morning is because I heard about the Bond theme song to be done by Alicia Keys and Jack White? Who is that? The bond songs recently, even during the last days of camp bond with Pierce Brosnan, have been crap. I am surprised that they have not done a reality TV show for the next Bond song. I came across a rather fun take on the Bond theme song, mainly dealing with the curious title "Quantum of Solace" which I am still trying to decipher. So i thought I would share it with people as it made me chuckle, and it should have that effect for any Bond fan, or anyone who like anything done by the people who brought you Spaced.
here it is:
