Terminator Saved?

When i first heard there was too be yet another Terminator film, I was pretty blah about it. The last one was positively atrocious, sorry Clare Danes, and we really could have done without it. The series began and to be honest it is not really that bad. considering that network execs seem to cancel any half decent show, the one thing the series has working for it is that fact that it is just a piece of a much larger puzzle, a very large puzzle. Of course Christian Bale is in the new movie, which pretty much guarantees that is will have a very somber tone (Mr Bale, please try something a little less broody next time - all this grimness is getting really rather tedious, let's see you smile, maybe even give a hearty chuckle in your next film)
So the new film seems to be a cross between old Terminator, Transformers (with respect to the technology) and the reworked Battlestar Galactica. If you don't believe me, take a look for yourselves.

Brought back a lot of memories. Something about this is really fascinating. Watching the various reactions to the camera. Seeing familiar but different surroundings, hearing Japanese and understanding a little. And just knowing that if you tried this in London, or NYC or even here, the camera would not last.
